FIELD: transport engineering; transmissions.
SUBSTANCE: proposed transfer case contains primary shaft with gearshift mechanism and gear fitted on bearings and kept in constant engagement with gears of intermediate shaft, secondary shaft, with or without differential, with gear in meshing with one of gears of intermediate shaft. Transfer case is furnished with forced lubrication system consisting of filter, oil intake strainer, pipes and pump driven by intermediate shaft. Filter is detachable.
EFFECT: increased service life of transfer case, provision of possibility of towing vehicle over long distance, reduced labor input at servicing.
