METHOD FOR MATCHING OF AXIS OF ENGINE INSTALLATION OF RECOILLESS GRENADE LAUNCHER WITH AXIS OF ITS BARREL Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: military equipment, applicable in development and manufacture of engine installations to recoilless grenade launcher.

SUBSTANCE: thin-walled bandage rings with mounting seats for the engine installation in the weapon barrel and a thin-walled cylinder with a thread and a mounting seat for the rear cover of the engine installation are manufactured. The errors of their manufacture are corrected in a mould, oriented relative to each other and joined in a single body. Partial correction of the error of the form of thin-walled bandage rings is accomplished by placing them in the seats of the mould corresponding to the mounting seats of the engine installation in the barrel. Partial correction of the error of the form of the thin-walled cylinder is accomplished by interference fit on a mandrel and alignment with the service hole and mounting seat for the rear cover of the engine installation. Then, the cylinder is oriented relative to the bandage rings by placement of the mandrel with it in a mould in alignment with its seats, and the cylinder and the rings are joined in a single body. The final correction of the error of their form is accomplished by filling the space between them under pressure with thermosetting plastic.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of use of aerosol interferences.
