FIELD: technology for determining mass flow of substance using a Coriolis flow meter.
SUBSTANCE: on basis of values of signals, incoming from sensors, fixed to oscillating flow meter pipe, non-compensated mass flow is calculated and substance density. If calculated density exceeds given threshold value, then density correction coefficient is determined from non-compensated mass flow and information, received by substitution method by empiric curve, connecting density to errors in mass flow. Detected correction coefficient is used for calculation of mass flow, compensated by density. Calculations are realized by microprocessor unit, having data carrier for storing appropriate commands.
EFFECT: higher precision.
