SUBSTANCE: coil for winding cutting cable of grass cutting apparatus has first and second rows of axially and angularly offset teeth. Axially movable slide is connected with coil. Gear of slide cooperates with first and second rows of coil teeth. Slide and coil define unit, which may be readily inserted into head and removed therefrom.
EFFECT: compact construction and reduced manufacture cost.
