METHOD OF MANUFACTURE OF HOUSEHOLD CANDLES AND A DEVICE FOR ITS REALIZATION Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: production of household candles.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of production of household candles. Substance: the source materials are ground up to a powdery state at their agitation, after that the gained mass is fed for forming by two runs, at the first run form the preset thickness of the candle mass, and at the second run - its preset volumetric density with the following forming of a candle rod with laying a wick. The automatic device consists of: a comminution gear of the source materials; a distributor of candle mass; a device for forming of candles; a feed gear of a wick with bobbins; a gear of a candle head; a gear for cutting the candles. It is additionally equipped with a two-run batcher of the comminuted mass consisting of: a distributor of the mass among devices of forming; a gear of formation of the preset volumetric density of the mass; dosing rollers; a stop gear for formation of a candle head or its rod. It is preferable, that the batching rollers have two or more longitudinal grooves, and their special shape improves accuracy of batching and cleanout of the grooves from the remaining particles of the candle mass. The stop gear is equipped with a removable stop with a cone-shaped cavity, that ensures manufacture of candles of a conical shape of any cross-section. The technical result is an increased productivity of labor and a cost reduction of candles due to elimination of processes of the source materials melting and refrigeration during the candles formation.

EFFECT: the invention ensures an increased productivity of labor, reduction of the candles cost, elimination of processes of the source materials melting and refrigeration during the candles formation.
