FIELD: motor road building, particularly to prepare hot bituminous concrete mix.
SUBSTANCE: plant comprises heat-insulated sealed tray secured to adjustable frame, bitumen supply lines, three-way valve, heater having outlet connected to upper part of tray inlet, high-pressure tank and holding vessel provided with enclosed ribbed thermoelectric heating members, temperature sensors and level detectors. Tray bottom is formed of thermoelectric hotplates. Heater sections are arranged over the hotplates transversely to the tray. The heater sections are activators and include sealed ribbed tubular electric heaters arranged in several staggered rows. Rotary aprons are located in front of each section. The aprons are connected one to another from outer tray side by common pull-rod to change inclination angles thereof.
EFFECT: possibility to retain bitumen properties during dehydration thereof due to increased contact area thereof with hot surface, reduced temperature, decreased time of bitumen heating and increased rate of forced-convection heat transfer from heating surface to bitumen, increased fire safety, reduced power inputs and improved ecological safety due to overheating elimination.
