FIELD: heat exchanging equipment, particularly for chemical, food and other industries.
SUBSTANCE: heat-exchanger comprises body with walls forming heat-exchanging jacket, gas inlet and outlet connection pipes, liquid inlet and outlet connection pipes and nozzles above which trapping device adapted to catch fine liquid droplets is installed. Rigid base provided with liquid outlet orifices is connected to the body. Installed on the base are honeycomb members defining channels. Balls of dielectric material are freely arranged in the channels. Rods of electroconductive material are secured along channel axes. The rods are linked with voltage source through conductive member. Honeycomb channel walls are also formed of electroconductive material and connected to the second clip of voltage source through electroconductive member. The rod surfaces serve as heat-exchanging ones and centers of liquid droplets condensation.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of heat exchange between dielectric liquid and gas medium due to strong electric field application, increased heat-exchanging surface area due to ball introduction in channels, which results in liquid breakage into fine droplets and jets, increased rate of heat-exchange process due to creation of constant electric field between metal rods and electroconductive walls of honeycomb channels.
