FIELD: heat-exchanging equipment, particularly contact heat-exchangers in which air is utilized for cooling or heating liquid flowing down along heat-exchanging chamber walls, for industrial coolers and heat-and-mass transfer devices creation.
SUBSTANCE: heat-exchanger has frame with liquid inlet means and upper and lower rows of support rods between which netted webs are arranged in tightened manner. Metal plates are arranged from both sides of the support rods and spaced preferably equal distances from them. The metal plates are secured to holders. Slots for additional metal plates receiving are formed along support rod generators. The additional plates are parallel to netted web. Metal plates secured to holders are linked with terminal clamp of direct current source. Additional metal plates secured to support rods are linked with terminal clamp of direct current source having opposite sign.
EFFECT: reduced size and, as the result, material consumption and labor inputs for heat-exchanger production, possibility to control heat-exchange characteristics, increased efficiency of heat transfer, improved operational and ecological indexes and extended service life.
