FIELD: image displays for data processing devices.
SUBSTANCE: image display field-emission device has substrate and emission layer on one outer surface of substrate; this emission layer has plurality of emitters and gates disposed in the form of emissive pixel matrix and conducting connections in emission layer running to emitters and gates. Substrate has through conducting junctions passing through its front layer to at least several conducting connections in emission layer for electrical connection to emitters and gates. Image display has field-emission device, glass screen incorporating crystal phosphor selectively excited by emission device pixels, and fusible sealing component tightly jointing screen to emission device for parallel disposition of screen at certain distance from emissive layer of field-emission device and for evacuating space between them. In addition, method is proposed for manufacturing field-emission device.
EFFECT: improved power characteristics of image display and field-emission device.
