FIELD: antenna engineering; transceiving antennas of mobile radio communication base stations.
SUBSTANCE: proposed antenna designed for operation in very-high and ultrahigh frequency bands has vertically positioned line radiator array and radiator exciting feeder. Novelty is that array radiators, except for central one, are excited to equal amplitude and in phase which makes it possible to use standard feeder circuit; the only transmission line being modified is that feeding central radiator of array. Central radiator is excited so that its excitation amplitude exceeds that of remaining radiators by K times and excitation phase of central radiator differs from that of remaining radiators by Δφ, K and Δφ values being chosen from equation given in description of invention.
EFFECT: eliminating all zeroes from directivity pattern of antenna line array in vertical plane.
