FIELD: antenna engineering; communication and navigation systems designed for dual-mode operation in two frequency bands.
SUBSTANCE: first linear polarization radiator is made in the form of hollow conical surface with its vertex facing metal screen; conical surface edges are connected by means of tubular conductors to metal screen; conical surface vertex is connected to first power channel feeder; second rotating polarization radiator is made in the form of turnstile dipole mounted above conical surface aperture. Turnstile dipole sides are connected in pairs through two feeder lengths to second power channel and are bent toward metal screen. Capacitive loads are connected to external ends of turnstile dipole sides. Correlations between dimensions of structural components are found.
EFFECT: reduced electrical size of antenna, improved matching quality, ability of dual-mode operation at relatively small frequency spacing.
