FIELD: pulse engineering; laser initiating pulse shapers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has power supply, flash lamp, flash transformer, thyristors, choke, resistor, diode, and capacitors. First thyristor and diode are connected in parallel with power supply. Second capacitor, first capacitor, and resistor are parallel-connected to diode. Choke and second thyristor are connected in parallel with third capacitor. Power supply is made in the form of storage capacitor. Laser flash lamp is placed at double voltage at same voltage across main power supply.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness and reduced time of pumping process.
