FIELD: pulse engineering; laser initiating pulse shapers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has power supply, flash transformer, flash lamp, diodes, switches, cutoff choke, and capacitors. First diode, first switch, cutoff choke, and third capacitor are interconnected in series and connected to power supply. Second diode and second capacitor are connected to power supply. Second diode and second switch are connected in parallel with first diode and first switch. First capacitor is connected in parallel with first diode and power supply. Second capacitor is connected in parallel with second diode and power supply. Third capacitor is connected in parallel with flash lamp and secondary winding of flash transformer. First switch is made in the form of thyristor. Second switch is also made in the form of thyristor. Power supply is made in the form of storage capacitor.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in using pumping device for laser flash lamp.
