FIELD: impulse engineering, possible use for building power sources of impulse lamps of optical quantum generators.
SUBSTANCE: device for powering impulse lamps contains power source, impulse lamp and ignition transformer, and also first, second, third and fourth thyristors, first and second throttles, first and second capacitors. Serially connected first throttle, first thyristor and first capacitor are connected in parallel to power supply. Connected second thyristor and second capacitor are connected in parallel to first thyristor and first capacitor. Serially connected third thyristor and second throttle are connected in parallel to second capacitor. Fourth thyristor, secondary ignition transformer winding and impulse lamp, both coupled serially with the thyristor, are connected in parallel to first capacitor and second throttle.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of device usage for powering impulse lamps of optical quantum generators.
