FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: intracapsular ring is made from elastic material. Ring diameter is proportional to capsule sack diameter. The ring is closed and has two diametrically arranged hinges of the first order. The hinges belong to the same plane with the ring and do not violate the ring diameter and have the same direction. When implanting the intracapsular ring, it is brought into the injector by pulling it with working instrument of the injector, compact form being given and then smoothly introduced into capsule sack cavity. The ring is pulled into the injector by applying force to a hinge of the first order pointing to inside of the ring towards the second hinge. The injector is arranged above the ring and the ring is introduced into the sack without injector position being changed.
EFFECT: retained ring integrity for performing intracapsular implantation; reduced risk of postoperative and intraoperative complications; improved vision acuity.
