FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmosurgery, and can be used for prevention of contraction capsular syndrome (CCS). For this purpose, lens nucleus is removed. Suture material is delivered through both holes of the polymer intracapsular ring (ICR). Thereafter, the suture end with the needle is cut off. Then the ICR with free ends of the filament drawn through the holes in the ICR is loaded into the injector for implantation of the ICR. ICR is implanted into the capsular sac equator through a corneal tunnel incision using an injector. At the beginning of the implantation of the ICR, the distal end of the suture is retained, and after the half of the ICR implantation, the proximal end of the suture is retained. After that, the ICR is positioned in the equator of the capsular bag with the help of two vertically oriented flat collet forceps 25G and a double interrupted suture is formed, forming the ICR into a rigid closed ring. Then free ends of thread are cut using collet shears. IOL is implanted. Operation is completed by evacuating the viscoelastic and restoring the volume of the anterior chamber.
EFFECT: invention enables to prevent formation of phimosis accompanying development of fibrous changes of leaves of capsular sac of lens due to formation of rigid structure in area of equator of capsular sac.
