SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely ophthalmology. For implantation of a three-part intraocular lens (IOL) in patients with cataracts complicated by lens subluxation, an intracapsular ring is pre-implanted. Posterior capsulorrhexis is performed. Then the haptic elements of the intraocular lens are fixed in the ciliary sulcus. The optical part of the lens is tucked under the anterior capsulorrhexis.
EFFECT: method minimizes complications in the early and late postoperative periods in patients after phacoemulsification of cataracts complicated by lens subluxation with IOL implantation, reduces the likelihood of capsular bag contraction, makes the evacuation of viscoelastic possible due to intraocular fluid circulation, eliminates the risk of capsular block.
