FIELD: chemical technology, hydrometallurgy, treatment of waste water and industrial water containing surfactants, extracting agents and petroleum products.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of clarification consists in filtering in downward direction under hydrostatic pressure through layer of fibrous charge followed by regeneration through loosening sludged layer by upward delivery of starting suspension and compressed air. Density of charge in loosened filtering layer is set within 35-50 kg/m3. During filtering, rarefaction is created above hydrostatic column of suspension within 6860-68600 Pa (0.07-0.7) kgf/cm2 without use of evacuating units.
EFFECT: increased mud capacity; increased productivity of process; enhanced cleaning of solutions.
