FIELD: electric engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device can be used for diagnosing condition of high-voltage equipment. Measurement device together with partial discharge detector is disposed inside electrostatic shield. Device has threshold unit supplied with power unit, which has to be power element or accumulator. Output of threshold unit is connected with indication unit, which has to be indicating relay, light-emitting diode or incandescent lamp. Measurement device and indication unit has common ground connection and switch, which disconnects measurement circuit. Noise immunity of the device is improved due to maximal screening of measurement device. Only dangerous level of partial discharges is measured and indicated by means of indicating relay, light-emitting diode or incandescent lamp.

EFFECT: simplified design; reduced cost; improved noise immunity.
