FIELD: condition inspection of high-voltage equipment.

SUBSTANCE: partial discharge sensor is made in the form of inductance coil disposed inside electrostatic screen; its potential lead is connected in series with analog-to-digital and optical converters provided with common power unit; optical fiber cable is connected to output of optical converter; partial discharge sensor, both converters, and common power unit are connected to ground through same ground connection; common power unit may be fuel cell battery, storage cell, or converter that functions to convert ac voltage induced in partial discharge sensor into dc voltage.

EFFECT: enhanced noise immunity in partial discharge measurements.
