FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has carcass manufactured from porous tension polytetrafluorethylene having nodular structure connected with fibrillas and having empty space elements integrated into three-dimensional network having 30-90% large empty space volume share, specific empty space surface of 0.1-0.9 mcm2/mcm3, mean distance between the empty spaces in the volume of 0.5-50 mcm and mean volume chord of 1-30 mcm. Prosthesis has envelope over carcass made by wrapping 1-6 porous tension polytetrafluorethylene film layers of the same structure like that of the carcass having empty space volume share of 45-94%, specific empty space surface of 0.1-0.6 mcm2/mcm3, mean distance between the empty spaces in the volume of 5-45 mcm and mean volume chord of 5-30 mcm. The prosthesis has rigid tips at its ends attached to external prosthesis surface. The end pieces are manufactured from solid fluoropolymer, elastomer or metal and have ribbed external surface. The end pieces are optionally manufactured as hollow cylinder or truncated cone which lesser cross-section is turned towards prosthesis ends. The prosthesis has side branch of lesser diameter in particular cases or additional flexible envelope.
EFFECT: accelerated reliable fastening to injured blood vessel.
