FIELD: production of mineral filaments.
SUBSTANCE: method involves suspending powdered carbon-based fuel in preliminarily heated air; combusting said fuel. Mineral material is suspended in the form of particles heated to temperature of at least 700 C in flame and melted in circulation combustion furnace. Hot waste gasses are separated from melt, and melt is collected. Method further involves providing contacting of waste gasses in cyclone-type preheater under NOx reduction conditions, with mineral material made in the form of particles being subjected to melting, to thereby reduce NOx in waste gasses and preliminarily heat mineral material to temperature of at least 700 C.
EFFECT: ecologically clean method of producing mineral filaments.
