FIELD: tracking systems of aviation and space objects; determination of accuracy of guidance of projectile at target and check of final conditions of their approach.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes determination of present parameters of motion by present measurements of projectile and target range vectors during their flight and their coordinates, motion parameters, range vectors and projectile velocity relative to target. Present and predicted miss vectors are determined and are statically processed for obtaining array of optimal estimations of present trajectory miss vector. This array of optimal estimations is statically processed for obtaining optimal estimation of vector of projectile final miss. Rated time of projectile flight to point of closing-in on the target is calculated at sum of present time of prediction and scalar product of predicted velocity and range vectors of projectile relative to target.
EFFECT: possibility of obtaining optimal estimation of rated time of flight of projectile to point of approach to target.
