FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns tracking systems for air and space objects and can be applied in determining missile targeting accuracy, control of final approach conditions and determining hits of missile damage agents to target. Invention substance involves obtaining evaluation of estimated missile flight time at optimum precision during missile approach to target with the help of tracking stations of air and space objects, and application of evaluation results as trajectory control parametres for missile approaching target. Hits of missile damage agents to target are determined by defining time moment of missile destruct Td, defining target distance Dt(Td) and missile distance Dm(Td) at the missile destruct moment, calculating actual zero hits Δa(t,Td) as distance from missile to target at the disrupt moment by the formula Δa(t,Td)=Dt(Td)-Dm(Td). Actual zero hit value Δa(t,Td) is compared to zero hit limit Alim(t,T) of missile determined by its parametres by the formula Δ=Δa(t,Td)-Alim(t,T), and if Δ≤0 then missile damage agent is considered to have hit the target.
