FIELD: engineering of equipment for transmitting and receiving digital information signals of pulse-code modulation, in particular, carrier of signals for transmission by said means.
SUBSTANCE: digital information signal has M-bit pulse-code modulation selections. Transmitter has input means for receiving M bit pulse-code modulation signal. Also provided is separating device for splitting M bit pulse-code modulation signal on representation of information signal having Parallel bit pulse-code modulation selections, and signal, being additional difference between M bit pulse-code modulation signal and Parallel bit pulse-code modulation signal, while M>P. Parallel bit pulse-code modulation signal and difference signal are joined. Also provided is device for data compression used for compression of difference signal data for production of aforementioned transmission signal for transmission to transmission environment.
EFFECT: compatibility of transmitted signal with industrial standard reproduction devices, simplified method for transmission and receipt.
