FIELD: apparatus in which the work is brought into contact with a bulk quantity of liquid or other fluent material, particularly for continuous coating application on optical lens.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a number of carriages reciprocating through the device to move fixers from carriage to lens loading arm and to charge the fixers with lens. Then the fixers are moved to leading empty carriage to charge thereof with lens free of coating. The lenses are covered with coating by immersing thereof into coating application bath. Coated lens are removed from the carriage and the coated lens are discharged from the system. Above reciprocal movement is also used in unloading section.
EFFECT: reduced manual intervention, increased efficiency and reliability of coating application, increased automation.
