SUBSTANCE: lifting/lowering conveying device in compliance with this invention is made with at least two sets of containers holding means (20A, 20B), and containers holding means (20A, 20B) are configured to allow their lifting/lowering together with each other and enabling their free approach to containers (C) or removal from containers (C) in the horizontal forward-backward direction. Sensor (47), which determines height of upper end of moved containers (C), which have been moved and lifted, is attached to the place located near lower end of each means (20A, 20B) of container holding, and determines deviation from normal spatial position of displaced containers (C) by means of comparison operation between height value of upper end of displaced containers, which is determined by sensor (47), and normal value of height of upper end of displaced containers, which is calculated based on height of container (C) subjected to manipulations.
EFFECT: invention enables improvement of serviceability.
