FIELD: transport systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of carrying passengers and loads by monorail transport system comes to the following: overhead vehicles are moved along running beam and stopped in preset points track structure of monorail transport system. When overhead vehicle is stopped in preset point, vehicle body is lowered by lifting-lowering device without breakaway of wheels of vehicle bogies from running beam until vehicle touches base of landing platform. When vehicle body in on landing platform, wheels of running bogies are disconnected from running beam after which running gear is lowered onto vehicle body by above-indicated lifting-lowering device.
EFFECT: improved convenience of servicing of overhead vehicles in case of abnormal situations on the road and when servicing train in depot.
