TRANSPORT SYSTEM FOR MOVEMENT ALONG GRAVITY OUTSTREET ROUTE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2199457 C1

FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use in metro, mini-metro and overhead transport. Proposed system operates on principle of action of gravity forces and traction (braking) forces from linear electric motor onto vehicle and checking said forces by measuring value of acceleration of vehicle and correction of acceleration for provision of comfort by changing amount of energy supplied to traction linear motor. Proposed transport system has track with L-shaped guides secured on outer side of rail lines carrying secondary elements of linear motor, and current leads. Vehicle with body and running gear is furnished additionally with acceleration pickup, reference unit, comparator and regulator of energy supplied to linear motor. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 dwg
