FIELD: motor road maintenance, particularly preventive repair thereof.

SUBSTANCE: method involves filling crack formed in the coating and having width of 1-10 mm with liquid oil product selected from waste oil, mazut, bitumen cutback, raw oil, having viscosity enough to moisten crack walls and penetrate into all cavities for 2-3 m depth from coating surface; filling the crack with dry sand for height selected with taking into consideration height of natural sand sloughing up to crack edge level; compacting the sand with manual roller or mechanical roller having width of not more than 200 mm, wherein the roller center moves over the crack in crack propagation direction.

EFFECT: elimination of following repair with the use of power-consuming machinery and materials in overhaul time.
