FIELD: hydraulic building, particularly to create impervious screen in working storage reservoirs of hydroelectric power station, water ponds and pools adapted to accumulate water store enough to satisfy industrial and potable water demands.
SUBSTANCE: method involves securing cables to previously prepared polymeric film web having necessary area; folding film web to create accordion structure; cutting lane in ice near water reservoir bench, wherein the lane dimension is equal to film web width; drilling holes in ice so that the holes are arranged along bent film web and spaced from the web; moving film web edge under ice with the use of above cables; bringing cable ends to ice surface through above holes and pulling the film web under ice over a given area; immersing the formed geomembrane in water with the use of weight; lowering remainder geomembrane part under ice; connecting weight to end of above part and laying the geomembrane end on beach surface after seasonal ice melting.
EFFECT: increased simplicity due to possibility of impervious screen creation without water reservoir dewatering, increased economy.
