FIELD: power engineering, possible use in devices for electric heating of liquids.
SUBSTANCE: device has toroidal winding of inducer, applied to core, consisting of thin-walled tubular coil pipe made of stainless steel with steel band winding applied thereto. Magnetic duct and heating element of heater are combined, and their function is realized by steel band winding. To decrease specific metal consumption down to 2-2,5 kg/kWt during operation of inductive heater, strong magnetic fields are used with strength 25-40kA/m. whole volume of ferromagnetic substance takes part in heat exhaustion. In heater, to prevent corrosion of steel and to heat up food liquids, thin-walled coil pipe is used made of stainless steel. To improve heat exhaustion from heater core to liquid flowing along coil pipe, wire spiral is used, inserted into coil pipe tube space, resulting in additional circulation of liquid.
EFFECT: construction of heater makes it possible to produce given value of temperatures difference between inner wall of coil pipe and heated liquid.
