FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industries.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry and is intended for thermal action on bottom-hole zone and oil formation to prevent formation of paraffin-hydrate deposits. Induction well heater comprises housing 1 made from non-magnetic material, and hollow core 2 coaxially arranged therein with formation of annular cavity 3, the cavity of which is interconnected with cavity 3 by means of holes 4. Magnetic core 6 is made in the form of toroidal magnetic conductors - elements 7 of transformer steel arranged continuously along the entire length of the core with periodic inserts of stiffness ribs 8. Current-conducting wire 5 is placed over magnetic conductor 6 by a continuous winding. One end of the housing is equipped with current lead 10. Lower end face of housing 1 is articulated with hydraulic compensation assembly 11 so that its upper cavity is common with lower cavity of housing, and inner cavity of said assembly is in fluid communication with core cavity 2. Heater can be connected up and down with telemetry system.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of reliability and efficiency of heater due to magnetic circuit abstraction, increase in induction component of power and prevention of winding overheating, improvement of heat transfer, providing reliable sealing and protection in well at high pressures with simultaneous expansion of manufacturability due to possibility of using current source both three-phase voltage of 380 V, and single-phase voltage of 220 V.
