FIELD: secondary ferrous metal recycling, particularly to deform used metal drums used to store combustive-lubricating and varnish-and-paint materials before melting thereof in melting units.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises base with support panel and hydraulic cylinder, pressure source, pressing panel and double-armed lever. The double-armed lever is pivotally mounted on the base and connected with hydraulic cylinder rod by the first end and with pressing panel ear by the second end thereof. The device also has plunger-pump and traction rod hinged to the base by the first end and to pressing panel corbel by the second end thereof. Pump shaft is connected to traction rod through drawbars. The traction rod, base, double-armed lever and pressing panel define articulated four-link parallelogram so that pressing panel may reciprocate relative the support panel. The plunger-pump is mounted in sealed cavity of the base. The support panel has orifices to communicate support panel surface with the sealed cavity.

EFFECT: increased operational efficiency.
