FIELD: optical aids for aircraft landing.
SUBSTANCE: proposed lighting fixture includes lamp unit which radiates light in direction forming outlet angle (β) at outlet surface of one light-refracting unit. Lamp unit includes light source radiating light in way of inlet surface of light-refracting unit. Longitudinal direction of light-refracting unit is matched with direction of light. Outlet surface is parallel to flat surface. Light-refracting unit is made in form of prismatic lattice consisting of glass plates and light-tight protective layers located between plates. Outlet surface is located at angle of inclination (γ) relative to flat surface and outlet angle (β) together with angle (γ) makes light emit from light source under newly formed outlet angle above surface (101) which satisfies requirements pertaining to luminous intensity near flat surface. Edge of prismatic lattice formed by side surface which forms in its turn acute angle between this surface and outlet surface is rounded-off.
EFFECT: universality of lighting fixture; enhanced reliability of aircraft landing.
