FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to light collimator and to a lighting device. Collimator (1) comprises a diffuse reflective layer, and elongated light waveguide (100) of length (wl), width (ww) and height (wh) of waveguide. Ratio of sizes of waveguide length to its width (ww) is wl/ww>1. Waveguide comprises a plurality of elongated cavities (110) of length (cl), width (cw) and height (ch). Ratio of length (cl) of cavity to its width (cw) is cl/cw>1. Longitudinal axes (111) of multiple cavities (110) are perpendicular to longitudinal axis (101) of waveguide. Invention also provides illumination device (2) using said collimator (1).
EFFECT: technical result is increased uniformity of light output.
