FIELD: rocket engine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: pulse solid rocket engine comprises shell (transporting-launching container), gas dynamic passage, and igniter. The gas dynamic passage of the engine has charge made of bank of piping powder member, central perforated pipe, shaped nozzle, damping lens, afterburning vortex chamber, and boosting device. The piping powder members are arranged around the perforated pipe. The damping lens is positioned at the front bottom of the engine and is made of a porous material. The afterburning vortex chamber is mounted in the space upstream of the nozzle. The total of the areas of the inlets to the outer spaces relates to the that of the inlets to inner spaces as 1.618. The boosting device is made of a container filled with a noise-suppressing matter.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
