FIELD: test engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed gas-dynamic pressure source comprises a hollow case with a nozzle and a perforated partition wall between an igniter with an initiator and a priming charge. The igniter with the initiator is put into a cup, which is in a shell. The bottom of the cup and the shell are perforated and face the side opposite the nozzle. The inner side surface of the shell has a ledge, which supports the bottom of the cup. The inner side surface of the case has a ledge, while the open butt-end of the shell has a collar, by which the shell can be fixed between the case and the nozzle and prevents linear movement inside the cavity of the case. Between the nozzle and the open butt-end of the shell, there is a diaphragm. The priming charge is put inside the shell, bounded by the bottom of the cup and the shell. Second and third diaphragms are put at the bottom of the cavity where the priming charge is put. The diaphragms are made from material which breaks down under the effect of explosive gases.
EFFECT: stability of replicating internal-ballistic parameters of a gas-dynamic pressure source and its efficient operation on mobile objects.
