FIELD: veterinary science.

SUBSTANCE: the method suggested deals with sanitizing measures conducted by variants depending upon initial infectioning in the stock detected according to the results of serological trial, moreover, in case of initial infectioning being up to 2.5% infected animals should be immediately slaughtered, the rest animals should be studied every 3 mo along with obligatory removal of infected animals; at farms, where it has been detected about 2.6-10.0% cattle leukosis-infected animals one should collect infected animals at another farm from where it is necessary to direct youngsters after fattening, cows after calving and lactation cessation for slaughtering, as for the rest animals they should be studied due to serological technique for the presence of cattle-leukosis to transform newly infected animals into the above-mentioned special farm; in case of initial infectioning of stock being 10.1-40% all animals should be divided into 2 groups: seropositive and seronegative animals to keep them separately. Infected animals should be tested every 6 mo due to hematological method to slaughter sick ones, and cows and heifers being cattle-leukosis uninfected ones should be studied serologically at 3-mo-long interval, moreover, newly detected seropositive animals should be transformed into the group of infected cows; in case of initial infectioning being above 40.0% all adult animals should be tested by hematological technique only every 6 mo to slaughter newly detected sick animals. The method enables to shorten sanitization terms at farms and decrease financial expenses for sanitization.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of sanitization.
