FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves the detection of 2.5-3% from the total number of animals with the virulent disease at the initial stage of development in the site of damage and the 1st troublesome area, slaughter of patients and further examination of the other animals. The remained animals in the site of virulent disease damage sheep and goat pox are examined within 24 hours by the instant diagnosis method, including the sampling of animal blood, isolation from it the DNA of the viral disease genome, implementation of polymerase chain reaction with fluorescent detection in the real time. According to the diagnostics results identify the virus carriers animals and healthy animals, which are transferred to the individual rooms and provide the rooms sanitation with ozone-air mixture at their presence. In the room with animals virus carriers, the sanitation should be carried out for at least 3-4 times per week during one month with the ozone concentration of 4-6 g/m3 for 20-30 minutes. In the room with healthy animals, the sanitation is carried out for not more than 2-3 times per week during two weeks with the ozone concentration of 3-4 g/m3 during 15-20 minutes.

EFFECT: method is highly effective in preventing of sheep and goats pox.
