FIELD: the invention refers to testing technique and may be used at testing of highly elastic materials on friction and wear.
SUBSTANCE: the sample for testing of highly elastic materials for friction and wear is fulfilled in the form of a square parallelepiped with a flat working surface and a corbel. On the mentioned surface a lug in the shape of a hemisphere or a semi-cylinder or a cone is fulfilled. The diameter of the foundation of the lug D0 < L where L - a side of the square.
EFFECT: the sample of the proposed form allows to expand the field of tribological and tribotechnical tests of elastomers and increase their reliability.
