FIELD: medicine, plastic surgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should dissect cicatricial fold on continuing patient's oral cavity, make incisions in area of superior and inferior lips along the border of mucosa and scars. Then in buccal area it is necessary to develop a valvate fragment in the form of "a swallow's tail", cross and dissect scars in area of mouth angle, superior and inferior lips along the border of a valvate fragment at subsequent development of two cicatricial fragments. All the fragments should be mobilized, mucosa should be sutured up to the fragment's center as "a swallow's tail", mobilized fragments of superior and inferior lips' red rim should be sutured up to fragment's sides in the form of "a swallow's tail". Defects being observed above and below a valvate fragment should be covered with cicatricial fragments after their modeling. The method enables to rationally apply intact buccal and labial tissues for developing mouth angle, prevent excessive usage of mucosa in case of intact own rim.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
