FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: suture needle can be used as instrument for stitching tissues through, including endoscopic operations. Suture needle has tubular case. Longitudinal side recess with curve is disposed onto external surface close to edge of case. Elongated pusher is placed inside case. Pusher is connected with end drive and with working tool in form of curved rod. Curved rod is mounted longitudinal recess and it has ligature ear at first end. First end of the rod is sharpened or rounded. Second end of rod is interconnected with case by hinge connection. Rod is mounted for rotation and fixation in plane in perpendicular to plane of curvature of longitudinal recess. Curve of longitudinal side recess corresponds to symmetrical or non-symmetrical bend of rod and it has boom of curve being equal to 1/3 diameter of tubular case or longer.
EFFECT: better intercommunication with tissues of needle's working end.
