SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical technology, namely to a surgical cutting tool for excision of the mucous-muscular layer of the cervical canal during hysterectomy. A surgical cutting tool for excision of the mucous-muscular layer of the cervical canal during hysterectomy contains a guide rod with a threaded stud for carrying the tool through the tissues and a hollow cylindrical body with an end cutting edge, made with the possibility of placing a guide rod in it. The threaded stud and the guide rod are made in the form of two detachable parts. The guide rod is provided with an axial groove made with the possibility of fixing a stud in it. The tool is equipped with a retainer made with the possibility of fixing in the axial groove of the guide rod and having a thrust surface for the cutting edge of the hollow cylindrical body.

EFFECT: invention enables to reduce the risk of intraoperative and postoperative complications during hysterectomy with excision of the mucous-muscular layer of the cervical canal with the possibility of obtaining material for an adequate histological examination.
