FIELD: spraying equipment, particularly devices to apply powder materials in electrostatic field.
SUBSTANCE: sprayer comprises body made of dielectric material, channel formed in the body and high-voltage electrode arranged in the channel. The high-voltage electrode is movably arranged in the body, made as hollow tube and adapted to supply powder material to be sprayed. The hollow tube is provided with tapered head and nozzles formed on side head surface. The head also has splitter of dielectric material connected thereto. The splitter and additional nozzle with orifices provide regulation of spray cone shape and quantity of powder to be applied. The high-voltage electrode and splitter are shaped to prevent powder accumulation on electrode and splitter surfaces.
EFFECT: increased operational efficiency due to creation of uniformly charged powder material by passing thereof through spraying nozzle and possibility to create spray cone of any shape and powder-and-air mixture content.
