FIELD: biochemistry, in particular preparation of chloro-substituted nitrophenol.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method includes oxidative chlorination of 4-nitrophenol with mixture of hydrochloric acid and 19-33 % hydrogen peroxide in 30-60 % sulfuric acid medium. Molar ratio of 4-nitrophenol/oxiding agent is 1:1. Obtained product precipitate is filtered and washed with cold water. Preparations of present invention are useful as active ingredient for antifungal drugs in skin lesions.
EFFECT: improved method; increased yield of target product.
