FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: the terminal components, having the shape of the sectors of a truncated cone, are connected to the body of the metal sleeve with the aid of flexible jumpers formed by the circular slot on the sleeve, and clamping nuts, having a conical inner surface, are used. It reduces the quantity of contact joints and increases the contact surface between the conductor and terminals. The device may be used for connection of bare and insulated conductors of any material positioned in the air, ground and water.

EFFECT: enhanced conductance of the connection, reduced heating of it by overload currents and short-circuits, enhanced reliability and durability, as well as reduced labor content and enhanced mechanical strength.
