FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: fire extinguishing module, which can be used to extinguish fires with a finely sprayed liquid. The fire extinguishing module contains a metal body filled with a liquid fire extinguishing agent (FEA), having a free air space above the level of the FEA, equipped with an upper neck in which an upper cover is installed by means of a thread, sealed with a main rubber gasket, a gas generator is installed in the inner upper part of the body, the body is equipped with a side neck for filling the fire extinguishing agent with a safety valve, the gas generator consists of a cylindrical body with a solid bottom and a coupling, inside which a multi-block gas-generating charge is installed, an electric starting device is installed in the upper part of the gas generator, holes for gas outlet are evenly distributed on the side surface of the cylindrical body of the gas generator, gas generator installed coaxially in a sealed glass, which is immersed in the FEA, while in the wall of the sealed glass in the area of free air space there are holes for the outlet of the working gas, which are sealed in the initial operating state of the module with waterproof tape; inside the sealed glass, near its inner side surface, a filter is installed coaxially the mesh of the gas generator, the outlet of the electrical wires of the electric starting device between the gas generator and the top cover is sealed by means of an additional rubber gasket. The housing is equipped with a lower neck, inside of which a bursting membrane is installed, blocking the flow area of the lower neck, designed with the possibility of its destruction along the notches and the formation of bent petals under the influence operating pressure when the gas generator is triggered, the burst disc is pressed to the lower neck by means of a pressure ring using a spray gun, a lower o-ring is installed between the burst disc and the lower neck, the inner surface of the burst disc has a layer of anti-corrosion protective coating. The spray gun is made in the form of a cylinder, in the lower part of which an outlet nozzle and a swirl grid are installed, forming a swirl chamber for the exhaust flow of the exhaust gas, the inlet channel of the atomizer is equipped with a filter element made in the form of a truncated hemisphere with a diameter of the larger base equal to the inner diameter of the inlet channel of the atomizer, and a diameter of the smaller base equal to the diameter of the inner cylindrical part of the outlet nozzle.
EFFECT: improved fire-extinguishing efficiency.
