FIELD: pipe line engineering. SUBSTANCE: end face surfaces of pipe lines to be sealed are made up as a ring cog defined in the cross-section by a straight line and curve of the second order, e.g. as a sector whose rib is inclined to the plane of the spacer at 90 deg - 180 deg. The surfaces of the cog is strengthened by the use of a laser. The cogs interact with the sealing spacer inside the centering bushing. A force exerted by the actuating member is transformed into contact pressures required for sealing and are received in the grooves of pipe lines through free flanges with supports and replaceable pressing rings received in the grooves made in the pipe lines. The spring free flanges operate as compensators of variations in pressure and temperature of fluid. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 3 dwg
