FIELD: separation of loose materials; separation of grain and grain products by size; chemical and mining industries; metallurgy; construction engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed vertical separator-conveyer includes vertical transporting channel and at least two rows of transfer shelves mounted in pairs at one level and at angle relative to level on opposite inner walls of transporting channel with vertical separating members located above them; vertical separating members are provided with wedge-shaped screening openings whose width increases downward; separator-conveyer is also provided with movable load-bearing member mounted in center of channel; this member moves in guides by means of rack-type adjusting unit; guide shelves are secured to movable load-bearing member in pairs and symmetrically; provision is also made for receivers of fractions separated through separating members. Separator is provided with additional guide shelves rigidly secured to movable load-bearing member and fitted with partitions articulated on them. Additional guide shelves are located at spaced relation relative to each other, main guide shelves and movable load-bearing member forming upper tiers and cascades; besides that, two flow limiters are mounted at area of delivery of mixture on walls of transporting channel.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of separation of components from starting mixture; increased productivity.
